IPL 2023 season finalists Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) reunited after almost a year’s gap for their impending IPL 2024 clash in Chennai. Both units were in great spirits and bonded during practice sessions.

IPL 2023 season turned out to be a blockbuster tournament and the finals between CSK and GT was the appropriate climax the fans needed.

In a game that stretched out for two days due to relentless rain, Ravindra Jadeja guided CSK home with two boundaries off the final over and chased down 171 DLS targets inside 15 overs.

That being said, almost a year has passed to the iconic game, and the two teams reunited for the first time earlier this week since their previous meetup.

CSK and GT are set to face off today at Chepauk stadium in Chennai for a league stage game of IPL 2024 season and ahead of the blockbuster matchup, the two sides bonded during practice sessions.

GT head coach Ashish Nehra hugged MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja while Rahul Tewatia engaged himself in a deep conversation with Ajinkya Rahane.

The coaches, support staff, and players were in good spirits and shared a laugh together to ease off the pre-game tensions and anticipation.

That being said, an entertaining game of cricket is expected to unfold between CSK and GT later today in Chennai. Both heavyweight sides are coming off an enthralling win in their respective season opening games.

Moreover, CSK and GT will field under the leadership of youth for the first time in IPL, which also sets up the stage for a unique battle between two rising Indian cricketers, Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
