Virat Kohli took flight for London shortly after leading India’s 2024 T20 World Cup victory celebration at the Wankhede Stadium on July 4.

Kohli, Indian captain Rohit Sharma along with the rest of their teammates arrived in India on July 4, i.e., roughly five days after lifting the coveted T20 title in Barbados.

The ‘Men in Blue’ caught up with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a congratulatory breakfast at the nation’s capital before flying to Mumbai to perform a victory parade for fans via an open bus from Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium.

Shortly after leading the Indian team’s 2024 T20 World Cup victory celebration alongside Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya at the Wankhede Stadium, legendary batter Virat Kohli was spotted arriving at the Mumbai airport.

As per reports, the 35-year-old will be flying off to London to join his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and their kids.

Virat Kohli played a crucial role in India’s historic 2024 T20 World Cup win over South Africa in a high-octane final at Barbados. The senior batter punched out a scintillating 59-ball 76 to set up India’s 176-7 upfront.

After fast bowlers Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh collectively restricted South Africa to 169 to secure a seven-run win, Kohli was declared as ‘Player of the Match’ for his defining knock.

Remarkably, the cricketer, along with captain Rohit Sharma as well as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja concurrently announced their respective retirements from T20Is after the tournament.
