Things like trust and compatibility are the most important, and it's safe to say our newest Indian leadership duo of Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav looks fully locked and loaded with them as evidently seen in a video shared by BCCI.
In the video, Surya talked about his relationship with Gautam Gambhir and how it dates back to their time together in Kolkata Knight Riders:
"This relationship is special as back in 2014, I played under him for KKR. It was special because I got the opportunity to play for the franchise from there. There's this thing that you take three steps forward, and I take two steps as well, and we meet in the middle. That's what the relationship is like, and it is still going strong.
"He knows how do I work, what my mindset is when I come to practice, how he tries to work as a coach, and it's all about that Lovely Relationship we have. Very excited to see how it goes forward," Suryakumar said in the video shared on bcci.tv.
