The rivalry between Pakistan's Shahid Afridi and India's Gautam Gambhir has always been a hot topic for gossip in the cricket fraternity. Despite being incredible cricketers, Gambhir and Afridi have indulged in several heated moments, including verbal altercations, on and off the field. 

The age-old rivalry once again took the limelight on Sunday when Afridi, representing New York Warriors, hammered a belligerent knock against Gambhir's team, NJ Tritons, in the ongoing US Masters T10 league. 

Batting first, New York Warriors got off to a decent start as Kamran Akmal and Richard Levi played quick-fire cameos. But their run rate took a downward turn after the openers were dismissed in quick succession. However, Afridi, coming at number four, showcased his incredible hitting prowess, ensuring a fitting finish for his side. 

The legendary all-rounder from Pakistan hammered 37 runs off just 12 deliveries, including six fours and two sixes, helping the Warriors post a commendable 84-run total in five overs.
