IPL superstar Rinku Singh got a magnificent start to his international career, grabbing a million eyeballs through an incredible cameo during India's ongoing T20I encounter against Ireland. Coming at number six, the dynamic southpaw smashed a belligerent cameo of 38 runs, ensuring a fitting finish for his side in this process. 

The batting sensation joined vice-captain Ruturaj Gaikwad when India lost the well-set Sanju Samson to Ben White in the 13th over. After getting his eyes in, Singh decided to take on the Irishmen towards the backend of the innings, powering India to a daunting 185-run total. 

Singh, who represents KKR in the IPL, took a special liking for Barry McCarthy, smashing him for a boundary and two massive sixes in the penultimate over.

If this wasn't enough, he showcased his finishing prowess against Mark Adair, hammering him for another maximum before getting out in the final over. His onslaught was pivotal in propelling the visitors to a sizeable total despite reeling at 143 for four in 18 overs. 

In response, Ireland came out with all guns blazing, racing to 18 for no loss in two overs. However, Prasidh Krishna brought a sigh of relief to the Indian camp, dismissing Paul Stirling and Lorcan Tucker in his first over. As of writing, the hosts are tottering at 24 for two in five overs, with Andrew Balbirnie and Harry Tector batting on 15* and 3*, respectively.
