In Match 4 of the US Masters T10 League, Jacques Kallis played exceptionally well for the Suresh Raina-led California Knights on Saturday (August 19). The 47-year-old South African, hailed as one of the greatest all-rounders of all time if not the greatest, smashed eight fours and three sixes in a fiery 31-ball 64 not out against Texas Chargers in Florida, which eventually helped his side register a convincing 48-run victory.

When in the mood, only a few during Kallis' professional career could appear to be a better classical batter than him. And the range of strokes Kallis played on Saturday gave spectators the impression that a time machine had taken them back to the good old days.

Here's the highlight of the Jacques Kallis show:

The first name that comes to mind whenever an all-rounder on the international circuit is introduced is none other than Kallis. That is how significant an impact the South African had during his illustrious career.

The 13,289 runs Kallis scored at an average of 55.37 in 166 Test matches and the 292 wickets he claimed at an average of 32.65 shows what extraordinary numbers look like when you consistently put in hard work. He amassed 11,579 runs at a 44.36 average while taking 273 wickets at a 31.79 average in 328 ODI matches, demonstrating his exceptional abilities with both the red and white balls.

Even in T20Is, Kallis made an impression, scoring 666 runs across 25 matches and grabbing 12 wickets at an average of 27.75.
