After securing two thumping consecutive wins, India will be keen to record a whitewash over Australia when they take the field today in the third ODI in Rajkot. This game holds significant importance for both teams being their final ODI appearance before the all-important World Cup starting next month. 

Meanwhile, veteran batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have rejoined the team and all set to feature in the dead-rubber in Rajkot. Ahead of the fascinating contest, the legendary players had an intense practice session, where they seemed pumped up for the encounter. 

In a video posted by the BCCI on X (formerly Twitter), Kohli and Rohit were seen playing some delightful shots in the nets.

Both the batters enjoyed stellar success in the Asia Cup 2023, helping India clinch the title by defeating Sri Lanka in the final. While Kohli amassed 129 runs, including a scintillating ton versus Pakistan, Rohit garnered 194 runs at a blistering strike rate of 107.77. 

Regarding the series, India have registered an unassailable 2-0 lead, courtesy of clinical victories in Mohali and Indore. Strengthened by the return of Rohit and Kohli, the Men in Blue would like to finish things off with a clean sweep before heading to the World Cup.
