[Watch] IND Vs PAK 'Mauka Mauka' 2023 WC Promo Featuring Jadeja & Shehnaz Gill Launched

With all logistical and legal paperwork completed, Pakistan have embarked on their visit to India for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 next month.

Pakistan will face hosts India in one of the most anticipated clashes of the World Cup when they lock horns at Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14 in Ahmedabad.

Considering the hype around the encounter, official broadcasters Star Sports have welcomed back the 'Maukaman' from the famous 'Mauka-Mauka' campaign, which became a hit amongst fans since making its way on television in 2015.

The new promotional advertisement features singer Shehnaaz Gill and India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as well. 

In the promo, Maukaman could be seen conversing with fellow ghosts, including Gill, about gaining freedom and watching Pakistan beat India for the first time in a 50-overs WC match this time.

The new campaign has been named '8 ka wait' (Wait for 8 ), as India holds a 7-0 WC record over its arch-rivals, having first met in the 1992 edition.

Team Pakistan will land in Hyderabad this evening around 8:00 PM after several hours of layover in Dubai.

The WC gets underway on October 5, with England and New Zealand facing off against each other.

Hosts India play their opening match on October 8 against five-time champions Australia, while Pakistan clash swords versus the Netherlands on October 6.
