In an unfortunate incident, a Mumbai Indians fan got involved in a fist fight with a Lucknow Super Giants fan during the IPL 2024 match between two sides at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Friday. 

In a video going viral on social media, an MI fan can be seen hitting one of his LSG counterparts during the high-voltage clash between the two teams. 

Chasing a mammoth 215-run target, MI were down on the mat at one stage, losing five wickets for 120 runs in 14.2 overs. 

Although Rohit Sharma scored a quick-fire 38-ball 68, the hosts were let down by most of their batters, with the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya recording failures. 

The disappointing performance from his team might have taken a toll on the MI fan, who was triggered by some fun banter from the LSG supporters. 

Raged by some comments made at him, the home team fan went on to hit one of the LSG supporter, creating a ruckus in the stands. 

The situation was eventually handled well by the security, who expelled the MI fan out of the gallery. 

Mumbai Indians had an extremely disappointing season this year, finishing at the tenth spot in the IPL 2024 points table with four wins in fourteen matches.
