Group A consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while the other group consists of Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia.

India will play their scheduled game in Dubai as BCCI managed to convince ICC and PCB for a hybrid model on the grounds of security concerns in the neighbouring country.
