However, the momentum shifted in the 13th over when Ebadot Hossain struck, and dismissed Nafay for 66 off 44 balls. Hossain bowled a short length delivery, Nafay attempted a cut shot, but only managed to edge it straight into Mushfiqur Rahim’s gloves. Despite the breakthrough, Chittagong Kings continued their dominance. Emon remained unbeaten on 78 off 49 balls, while Graham Clark’s late fireworks (44 off 23) powered them to a commanding 194/3 in 20 overs.
Chasing target, Fortune Barishal openers Tamim Iqbal and Towhid Hridoy provided a much-needed start and made 76 run partnership off 49 balls. Iqbal played the captain's knock and made 54 runs off 29 balls. After both the openers departed, Dawid Malan failed to make any significant contribution and departed for a mere one run.
Mushfiqur Rahim also could not perform at a crucial match and made 16 runs off nine balls. At the time of writing this article, FRB needs 62 runs in 42 balls with Kyle Mayers and Mahmudullah Riyad at the strike.
