Rishabh Pant is a name that’s synonymous with explosive batting and agile wicketkeeping. However, ahead of the second and final Test against Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, Pant surprised everyone by showcasing an entirely different skill. In a video shared by the BCCI, Pant was seen rolling his arm over, acting as an off-spinner, and bowling to none other than India's star opener, Shubman Gill. The sight of Pant bowling raised a few eyebrows and sparked some light-hearted banter among the players.

As Pant prepared to bowl, Shubman Gill didn’t hold back on some friendly teasing. He turned to all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and joked, “Pakadna Jaddu Bhai, Bhar Bhar Ke Drive’en Maar Raha Hoon,” suggesting he was about to hit plenty of drives. The relaxed atmosphere in the practice session reflected the camaraderie within the team, adding a layer of fun to what would otherwise be a regular warm-up.

Not wanting to miss out on the banter, KL Rahul chimed in with a question that added to the amusement. He asked Pant, “You bowled in the Delhi Premier League, right?” Pant, with a confident smile, replied, “Yes!” After delivering one ball, Pant proudly exclaimed, “See, I beat him!” However, Gill was quick to respond by showing his class with a series of solid shots.

In the end, he turned to Pant with a grin, saying, “Rishabh, thanks for the practice!”
