'I Would Play Rohit...': Yuvraj Singh's Cheeky Reply When Asked To Choose Between Kohli, Dhoni and Rohit Sharma

India's legendary Yuvraj Singh recently appeared on Club Prairie Fire's popular podcast, hosted by cricket greats Michael Vaughan and Adam Gilchrist. During the episode, Yuvraj faced the challenge of choosing between three cricketing icons: Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and MS Dhoni.

Yuvraj makes a 'Hit' choice

Yuvi said that he would definitely play Rohit. He endorsed Rohit Sharma as the opening batter with explosive batting skills who could change the face of the game.

“I would play Rohit Sharma as he is one of the best batters in T20 cricket and bats aggressively. Rohit is a quality captain and has been successful as a leader,” he said.

Interestingly, Vaughan had a different perspective; he chose to "sell" Kohli, reasoning that Kohli hasn't yet won an IPL title. Vaughan's pick for the playing XI was Dhoni, whom he described as an exemplary player and captain, while he decided to bench Rohit.

At one point, Yuvraj brushed it off when pointed out that he'd bench himself if he had to choose between Kohli and Dhoni since he didn't want to be in the midst of a media frenzy.

"I would bench myself as naming one between Virat and Dhoni would be in the headlines. I don’t want that to happen,” he added.

Rohit Sharma and Co gear up for second Test vs Bangladesh

After a dominant 280-run victory in the first Test, India is set to face Bangladesh again at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur, starting September 27. Despite a shaky start, with India at 144/6, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja rescued the innings with a 199-run partnership for the seventh wicket.

India posted 376, backed by a five-wicket haul from Hasan Mahmud. Bangladesh struggled in response, scoring only 149, while Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets. In the second innings, centuries from Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill helped India set a daunting target of 515, ultimately bowling Bangladesh out for 234.
