After equalling his inspiration and cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar's century tally in One-Day Internationals, modern-day stalwart Virat Kohli is approaching another huge landmark at the next league stage encounter of the ICC World Cup 2023 in Bangalore. 

When Kohli embraces his familar turf at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore to take on the Netherlands next Sunday (November 12) for India's final league match, he will be eyeing a remarkable 50th One-Day International hundred next to his name.

The great batter is on his way to becoming the highest-ever centurion in 50-over cricket history with another hundred under his belt, having clinched the 49th ton in the marquee face-off against South Africa at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata the previous Sunday (November 5). 

Virat Kohli To Surpass Sachin Tendulkar In Bangalore? 

With Kohli in spectacular touch and form, enjoying a mighty successful run with the bat in hand at this World Cup, there is a strong likelihood of him surpassing Tendulkar in the very next game and etching himself in the cricketing history as the No.1 century-maker in the traditional format.
