Indian spinner, Kuldeep Yadav was recently seen visiting the revered Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple in Visakhapatnam, seeking blessings ahead of the crucial second Test against England in Vizag that is slated to commence on Friday, February 2.

Kuldeep Yadav's temple visit in Vizag sparks buzz ahead of 2nd Test

Kuldeep’s visit to the temple has caught the attention of fans and followers, with images and videos circulating widely on social media platforms. In the photos and videos, Kuldeep can be seen alongside some priests and temple officials.

Kuldeep is known for his strategic play and has been a part of the Indian Test squad in eight matches, claiming 34 wickets with an economy rate of 3.43. Despite last playing a Test against Bangladesh in December 2022, his potential inclusion in the playing XI for the upcoming match in Visakhapatnam is being widely speculated. The pitch there is expected to favour spinners, and Kuldeep's unique bowling style could provide a significant advantage to the Indian team.

The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, is currently looking to make a strong comeback after a 28-run defeat in the series opener in Hyderabad. In that match, the pitch conditions did not favour fast bowler Mohammed Siraj as much, leading to a greater reliance on spinners and the fast bowling of Jasprit Bumrah. The inclusion of Kuldeep could further strengthen India's spin attack, which already boasts talents like Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel.

Kuldeep's visit to the temple looks like a quest for blessings before stepping onto the field for what could be a vital game in the series. With England's spinners, particularly Tom Hartley, who made his debut and took seven wickets in the second innings of the first Test, showing formidable skill, the pressure is on the Indian spin unit to perform.

As the match approaches, all eyes will be on Team India's selection decisions and whether Kuldeep will be the trump card they need to level the series against England.
