Team India, leading 2-1 in the five-match Test series, will lock horns with England in the fourth Test starting on Thursday, February 23, at JSCA International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi. The visitors will strive to keep themselves alive in the series. 

The hosts will be heading into this game on the back of a thumping 434-run victory over England at Rajkot. However, this time they will be without their pace leader Jasprit Bumrah, who has been rested for this game to manage his workload. 

Moreover, India will persist without KL Rahul. Although he participated in the opening Test in Hyderabad, he's been sidelined for the subsequent two matches owing to a quadriceps injury. His availability for the fifth Test in Dharamsala remains uncertain.

Additionally, there appears to be a surprise inclusion looming for KS Bharat in the fourth Test. Interestingly, the Andhra Pradesh wicket-keeper was benched after disappointing performances with both bat and gloves in the first two matches. 

In preparations for the Ranchi Test, Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid was seen providing one-on-one guidance to KS Bharath during practice, hinting at his potential inclusion in the fourth Test.

During the third Test at Rajkot, Dhruv Jurel earned his debut cap for India, delivering a solid performance with both bat and gloves. Now, all eyes are on whether KS Bharath will leapfrog Jurel in the pecking order.
