As the IPL 2024 season approaches, Hardik Pandya, the dynamic all-rounder, is back with the Mumbai Indians. Sharing his sentiments on social media, Pandya expressed his joy and gratitude for reuniting with his MI teammates, reminiscing about the cherished memories and successes they've shared in the past.

Hardik Pandya was brought back by the Mumbai Indians franchise via a blockbuster trade that shook the cricket fraternity in India. Pandya, who led Gujarat Titans to a title win, is back to where it all began for him.

A MI find, Hardik Pandya rose to fame with the Mumbai-based franchise before GT bagged him during the mega auction.

Nonetheless, Pandya's life came full circle as MI traded him and handed over captaincy responsibilities. While the journey back home hasn't been an easy ride for the all-rounder, he is professionally committed to bringing success back to Mumbai.

Meanwhile, ahead of the IPL 2024 season, Hardik Pandya joined Mumbai Indians pre-season camp held in Mumbai. He met mentor Malinga and several other key personnel of the franchise with whom he once shared a close bond.

Pandya shared his video of greeting familiar faces in the MI camp on his social media and expressed his emotional sentiments.

The all-rounder wrote about reliving old memories on day 1 of his pre-season camp and also shared his excitement for the impending season.

Pandya will replace Rohit Sharma as the captain of the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. He is largely viewed as the franchise's future face, which basically promoted the leadership to take this extreme step.

However, the all-rounder's road to glory is easier said than done. Pandya is making a comeback after four months of nursing an ankle injury. His match fitness will be tested as MI tackles GT in the season opener on March 24.
