India's legendary batter, Virat Kohli, is loved by billions in this country and around the world. The superstar, who has plenty of records after his name, often gets much attention from his female fans as well as hardcore cricket followers.
Virat Kohli Receives Love From His Fans
India won the second ODI against England, where Virat Kohli could only manage five runs, but that did not impact his fanfare. While Kohli was entering the Bhubaneswar Airport to leave for Ahmedabad, a female fan requested a hug from the former Indian skipper, who then accepted her wish.
In the video, which became popular on social media, Kohli was seen hugging his female fan at the airport while leaving for their next destination. Virat, who was seen wearing Indian team's travelling kit, had luggage in his hands as he walked towards the crowd.
When the female fan looked at him and got emotional, the 36-year-old was kind enough to give her a hug as he then just moved on where security officers kept him in a safe space.
The woman, wearing a black dress, seemed quite contented and satisfied after seeing and meeting her legend. This went viral over the internet as social media praised the Indian veteran for his modesty towards his fans.
India And England To Play Final Game Before CT 2025
Talking about the previous game, India won the second ODI against England by a comfortable margin of four wickets with 5.3 overs to spare. Rohit Sharma smacked a brilliant 119, while Kohli could not get past five as he was dismissed by English leg spinner Adil Rashid, who induced an edge and was caught by keeper Phil Salt.
Both sides will now play in the third and final ODI of the series, which will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where the Indian team will have to face the ghosts of the 2023 Cricket World Cup after losing to Australia at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who missed the first match of the series, would want to ensure that he returns to form before the Champions Trophy.
This game will be the final match for India's preparation campaign before the Champions Trophy 2025 begins in Pakistan and Dubai on 19th February. India is slated to play Bangladesh on 20th February, Pakistan on 23rd, while facing New Zealand on 2nd March at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
