The tri-series featuring Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand is now at an interesting stage. The Kiwis have won both their games so far and have booked a place in the final while Pakistan and South Africa after a loss in their first game of the series, need to win their next game to make it to the finale.
Both teams will go up against each other on Wednesday, 12th of February at the newly renovated National Stadium in Karachi and all the pressure would be on the home team to deliver infront of their loyal fans. The Mohammad Rizwan-led unit has now started its preparation, and the official X handle of Pakistan cricket has posted a video where all players are seen practicing hard.
Pakistan Eye Comeback In Absence Of Haris Rauf
Mohammad Rizwan is initially seen talking to players in the huddle and then there are visuals of players practicing their fielding drills along with batting and bowling. The focus would be on the bowling group and especially on the duo of Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah with Haris Rauf not available.
The Pakistan bowling group started well in the last match, but New Zealand batters, especially Glenn Phillips smashed them all over the park. Shaheen and Naseem Shah turned out quite expensive and if Pakistan want to win their next game, the duo has to deliver. Haris Rauf, on the other hand, was not seen in the video, and as clarified by PCB, he would not take part in the tri-series.
