The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 22, 2024, was a thrilling encounter that ultimately saw RCB losing by 4 wickets. 

Faf du Plessis & Co. posted a total of 172/8, with key contributions from Rajat Patidar (34 runs 22 balls), Virat Kohli (33 runs 24 balls), and Mahipal Lomror (32 runs 17 balls). 

However, RR successfully chased down the target of 174 with an over to spare, led by Yashasvi Jaiswal's 45 off 26 balls. Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer also played crucial roles, with Rovman Powell's unbeaten 16 off 8 balls sealing the victory.


Massive Fight Between CSK Vs RCB Fans 

One of the standout moments of the match was the noticeable presence of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans at the stadium. Their attendance at the Eliminator, despite CSK not playing, highlighted the deep rivalry and passionate fan base that the IPL cultivates. 

However, tensions flared as some RCB and CSK fans were involved in altercations, leading to a disruption of the match decorum, as a video that went viral on the internet captured.

Despite RCB efforts in the match against CSK, their journey in IPL 2024 came to an end with defeat to RR. This defeat has led to significant trolling of RCB fans on social media, especially by CSK fans.  

The trolling stemmed from previous incidents where RCB fans bullied CSK fans both at the stadium and online following their last group stage match, in which RCB secured a playoff spot by defeating CSK.
