Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans have been hit hard by the fact that their beloved team's streak of not winning an Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy will not end in the 2024 season.

However, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players, who faced same agony last week, when RCB knocked them out of IPL 2024, are rejoicing Bengaluru's exit.

Cricketer-turned-commentator, Ambati Rayudu, has been making waves on social media ever since Rajasthan Royals (RR) eliminated RCB in the do-or-die affair at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Wednesday.

Recently, the former CSK batter put an Instagram post of Chennai's celebrations after the IPL 2023 triumph, to mock the Bengaluru franchise and its fans. He put up a video of Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Moeen Ali, Devon Conway and a few other, gesturing at the Super Kings' five trophies in the league.

Indian quick Deepak Chahar and Sri Lanka prodigy Matheesha Pathirana, who were a part of the team during their last title victory, joined Rayudu's mocking spree by commenting on his viral reel.

Ever since RCB knocked out CSK in their last league game in Bengaluru last week in a nerve-wrenching affair, fans of both franchise are got into a filthy social media war.

The former had their ties up after the league game, but after when they lost the Eliminator, it has been Chennai fans' turn on social media.

Bangalore and Chennai have faced each other in 33 matches in the league. Out of these 33 games, Bangalore have won 11, whereas Chennai have had a clear-cut lead of 21.
