The India-South Africa two-match Test series concluded in a dramatic draw on Thursday, with each team securing a win.

However, it wasn't just the on-field performances that grabbed headlines. Indian stalwart Virat Kohli once again proved to be a central figure, not just for his cricketing skills but for his lively and playful demeanour, which became a hot topic on the internet.

Kohli's quirky celebration stole the show after India's win at Newlands

The series, which ended in a gripping draw, saw both teams exchanging blows. South Africa claimed victory in the first Test at Centurion, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown in Newlands. It was here that India roared back into the series, securing a historic win by 7 wickets—a milestone marking the first Test win for an Asian team at this iconic venue.

However, beyond the boundaries and wickets, it was Kohli's playful demeanour that stole the show. Standing at the forefront of the Indian team, he spontaneously struck a squatting pose, flashing a peace sign with both hands, much to the amusement of those around. But he didn't stop there.

Moments later, he switched to a cheeky boxing stance, playfully facing the South African team, showcasing his well-known jolly nature. His jovial mood continued off-camera, as he shared laughs and jokes with his teammates. This moment of light-heartedness, captured in photographs and videos, quickly went viral on social media.

Coming to the game, India's bowling attack, led by Mohammed Siraj, who claimed six wickets, was pivotal in skittling out South Africa for a mere 55 in the first innings. Despite a shaky batting performance from India, which saw a bizarre collapse of their last six wickets without adding a single run, they managed to secure a crucial 98-run lead.

Aiden Markram's valiant 99-ball century for South Africa was a standout performance in the second innings, but it wasn't enough to stave off India's aggressive chase, as they reached their target with seven wickets to spare.
