In a significant business move, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has leased an 18,430 square feet office space in Gurugram, which is expected to cost him a monthly rent of a staggering INR 8.85 lakhs.

Virat Kohli, the mighty superstar of Indian cricket, is currently on a personal leave and chose to give the five-game Test series against England a miss.

While Kohli is spending some time away from the cricket field due to the birth of his second child, his brother Vikas Kohli is carrying out business deals on his behalf.

Money Control recently reported that an office space spread across 18,430 square feet in the Reach Comercia corporate tower located in sector 68 of Gurugram has been leased under the name of Virat Kohli.

Notably, the office spaces are accompanied by 37 parking slots in the same tower.

Under the agreement, Kohli rented 12 office spaces for a monthly rent of INR 8.85 lakhs. The transaction also involved a stamp duty fee of INR 3.83 Lakhs and registration fees of INR 50,010.

As Virat's legal power of attorney, his brother Vikas Kohli approved the deal under Mynd Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, a Delhi-based firm.

For starters, Virat Kohli paid a security deposit of INR 57.19 Lakh and has agreed to pay a yearly rent of INR 1.27 Crores. Additionally, the agreement reports involve a clause that will increase the yearly rent by five percent.

That being said, Virat Kohli's investment in commercial activities reflects his long-term vision and commitment to building a diverse and robust business empire.

While his cricketing career is limited, he intends to venture into the business world post-retirement, which could be on the cards in this decade.

At 35, Virat Kohli is as strong and fit as a 25-year-old. However, father's time will eventually get to him sooner or later.
