India are all set to take on Bangladesh in the two-match Test series starting from the 19th of September at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Indian players have started their preparation and Indian players seem pretty determined to leave no stone unturned ahead of an important series.

There are plenty of pictures and videos floating around of the Indian team's practice session, and now an interesting report from Indian Express has revealed an interesting story of the Indian team's practice session. The report mentions that during India's net session, Yashasvi Jaiswal found himself in all kinds of trouble against Indian pacers.

Jasprit Bumrah, reportedly cleaned up and troubled Yashasvi Jaiswal a lot, and Virat Kohli who was waiting for his turn to bat, decided to step in and help the young batter. The legendary batter had a brief chat with Virat Kohli as the left-hander was also struggling against the likes of Akash Deep, Mohammad Siraj, and even the net bowler, Yudhvir Singh

After Kohli's chat with Jaiswal, Gautam Gambhir decided to take the youngster under his wings. The Indian head coach took Jaiswal to an adjacent net and gave him throwdowns for almost 20 minutes. Gambhir emphasized on making sure that Jaiswal gets behind the line of the ball and Gambhir being a left-hander and an opening batter himself is a perfect mentor for a young southpaw.

Yashasvi Jaiswal A Key Player For India

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the leading run-scorer for India in the Test series against England and smashed back-to-back double centuries. His aggressive style of play was a big asset for India against England and once again the onus will be on the left-hander to provide India with big starts in the series against Bangladesh.
