Pakistan is all set to host an ICC event after 28 years, as the Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in Pakistan. As per reports, the event will take place from February 19- March 9.

Ahead of the mega event next year, the PCB has issued an official draft of the schedule to the International Cricket Council (ICC). As per the draft, Pakistan will take on India on March 1 at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.

Also, the draft suggested that India will play all their games in Lahore due to security reasons. In the latest events, PTI reported that India are unlikely to travel to Pakistan as BCCI will again push for a hybrid model similar to the one in Asia Cup 2023.

Notably, Pakistan also won the hosting rights for Asia Cup 2023. However, BCCI refused to send the Indian side to Pakistan, and eventually, the PCB, ACC and BCCI agreed to a hybrid model and shifted India's Asia Cup games to Sri Lanka.

There has been a lot of debate over India's participation in Champions Trophy 2025 but PCB chairman has declined that the tournament will not be moved out of Pakistan. Thus, it is to be seen which board is likely to step back in their demands.
