'Didn't Turn Up That Way..'- Kuldeep Opens Up On Rohit's Failed Attempt To Recreate Messi's Walk

It has been more than a week since India ended their ICC trophy drought and lifted their 2nd T20 World Cup trophy. The celebrations are refusing to slow down and rightly so. 

The players are receiving a grand welcome upon reaching their hometowns and the latest to join the bandwagon is Kuldeep Yadav, who was welcomed with fireworks and dhol after reaching Kanpur. 

In the latest events, Kuldeep Yadav opened up on the celebrations and dedicated the win to Rohit Sharma. Further, Yadav also shed light on Rohit's celebration after winning the trophy.

Notably, when India won the trophy, Kuldeep had asked him to carry the trophy like Lionel Messi did after winning the 2022 Fifa World Cup. However, Rohit failed to imitate Messi's walk and rather ended up with a similar walk like WWE legend Rick Flair. 

Meanwhile, Kuldeep, speaking to NDTV, revealed that he had indeed asked Rohit to copy Messi but it did not come that way. However, he added that Rohit's style was also impressive. 

'He wanted to try something and I told him to do it like Lionel Messi, what he did in the Fifa World Cup. So, I told him to do that but it did not turn up that way. It was actually very good and even PM Modi went through that video.'

In the same interview, Kuldeep also shed light on his marriage plans and reveals that he is likely to tie the knot soon.
