Not everything is going right in the Pakistan cricket team. After a humiliating loss in the first Test match against Bangladesh, things have taken an ugly turn in the dressing room.

Tempers flared in Pakistan dressing room after loss Vs BAN

If the latest reports are to be believed, things got heated up in the dressing room after the Rawalpindi Test match, and captain Shan Masood, got into a physical altercation with senior pacer, Shaheen Afridi.

The reports also added that when keeper-batter, Mohammad Rizwan tried to stop the fight, he was beaten badly by the duo. As a result, Pakistan's team image has taken a major hit.

A couple of days ago, a video went viral wherein Shaheen removed Masood's hands from his shoulders, speculating a rift between the two cricketers. Shaheen, one of the best pacers in the side had a mediocre outing against the Tigers.

The left-arm seamer lacked the cutting-edge and could only pick up 2 wickets for 88 runs as Bangladesh won the Test by 10-wickets. Similarly, captain Masood also had a poor game, both as a batter and as a leader. He looked clueless with his tactics and scored only 20 runs across two innings.

Shaheen dropped from 2nd Test after poor show in Rawalpindi

Interestingly, Shaheen was dropped from the playing XI for the second Test match, which was supposed to begin from August 30. Head coach, Jason Gillespie stated that the decision was taken after discussing with Shaheen himself.

The pace bowler became a father recently, and the team management has given him time to get his mojo back.

Talking about the second Test, the entire first day was washed out because of the relentless rain.

It's important to note that these are all reports/speculations. There is no official confirmation of the truth in these reports, as neither Masood nor Shaheen have made a public statement since the rumours circulated.
