Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Tim David turned a rain delay into a moment of pure entertainment at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday, May 15. He playfully swam on the waterlogged covers amid heavy showers in Bengaluru. While his teammates ran off the field, David embraced the weather, gliding across the soaked surface in shorts.

His standout knock came against PBKS at home, where he remained unbeaten on 50, showcasing his ability to anchor and finish under pressure.

The defending champions are currently second on the points table with 16 points from 11 matches and a healthy net run rate of +0.482. A win over KKR would see them become the first team to officially qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2025.

RCB had defeated KKR convincingly in the season opener on March 22 at Eden Gardens, chasing down 175 with seven wickets and 22 balls to spare, courtesy of half-centuries from Phil Salt and Virat Kohli and a blazing 34 off 16 from skipper Rajat Patidar.
