IPL revised schedule out [Source @ipl/x.com]
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 revised schedule is out for the remainder of the season and the tournament which was suspended due to the ongoing conflicts between India and Pakistan will resume on May 17, Saturday and the finals will take place on June 3, IPL press release stated.

After extensive consultation with the government, the IPL released the new schedule and a total of 17 matches will be played across 6 venues.
The tournament will resume with the highly anticipated RCB Vs KKR fixture at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The revised schedule also has two double headers which will be played on two Sundays. The venue details of the playoffs will be announced later.
Venues for IPL 2025 rescheduled matches
The BCCI has selected 6 venues for the tournament - mainly Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Mumbai. Earlier it was speculated that the Southern region - Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad will host the remaining games, but the board decided to take the alternative route.
7 teams still in playoff race
Out of the 10 teams, 7 are still in the playoff race with CSK, SRH and RR already being out of the competition. The 7 teams will once again fight it out for a place in the knockouts. GT, lead the table with 16 points in 11 matches, followed by RCB with 16 points and PBKS and MI occupy the 3rd and 4th spot with 15 and 14 points respectively.
