Will Jacks played a crucial role for the Royal Challengers in the IPL 2024 campaign. He played a major role for them in the dramatic turn around that they scripted during the season. It surprised everybody when RCB decided to release him ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction.
During the mega auction, Will Jacks was picked up for ₹ 5.25 Cr by Mumbai Indians. Even though they had the chance, RCB did not use the RTM for Will Jacks. While Jacks has not scored massively for the Mumbai Indians he has played some very useful knocks. Even against GT, Jacks scored a half-century at a difficult time when the Mumbai Indians were two down very early.
