India's star keeper-batter Rishabh Pant was recently seen in action during the ongoing Delhi Premier League, where he was roped in by Purani Dilli 6.

The southpaw played just a solitary game as he then left the squad to focus on the upcoming Duleep Trophy season as India have some crucial red-ball games coming up later this year.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced on the internet from Arun Jaitley Stadium, where Pant delighted the Delhi crowd after a Delhi Premier League match by signing autographs for the kids, and giving selfies to the crowd and interacting with them.

Pant also fulfilled his promise and handed out a pair of gloves and one of his Purani Dilli 6 shirts to those who came to attend the match.

Pant's Failure in Delhi Premier League

Pant, who was felicitated by the DDCA before the start of the tournament, did not had the desired start to the tournament, as he, representing Purani Dilli 6, featured against South Delhi Superstarz and scored 35 runs off 32 balls.

Pant's innings was heavily criticised as he scored almost-run a ball 35 and his struggle against spin was mocked and exploited. Eventually, South Delhi Superstarz beat Purani Dilli 6.
