After a gruelling five-game Test series against England, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill took some well-deserved time off to hop on a beachside stroll and shared a sneak peek with the fans on social media.

In an absolute phase of domination, India handed England a 4-1 series defeat earlier this week. Coming off a loss in the series opener in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma and Co. produced an awe-inspiring comeback to stake claim on the series.

That said, the series lasted for almost a month, and naturally, the hectic schedule took a toll on players.

Meanwhile, after concluding the series in Dharamsala, Indian batter Shubman Gill opted for his well-deserved and much-needed break to travel for a beachside vacation.

While Gill didn't share the location, he posted stunning pictures captured with the appealing backdrop of the sea. The batter captioned the post with, "Beachside reps, worldwide steps!."

That being said, Shubman Gill has a roller coaster series against England. After Hyderabad's failure, he allegedly received an ultimatum to either perform in Vizag or make his way back to domestic cricket to sort out the basics of the game.

However, Gill embraced the challenge and responded with a fighting century in the Vizag Test. The young batter never looked back and concluded the series in style with yet another commanding ton. Shubman finished the series as the second-highest run-getter, with 452 runs to his name.

Notably, Shubman Gill's return to form was special in many ways. He had to drop down to number 3 to give away his opening slot to Yashasvi Jaiswal. Initially, the change in order left him shaken. But the batter regained confidence when the team needed it the most.

Overall, Shubman Gill proved he is immune to pressure and challenges as a three-format player. Indeed, Indian cricket's future is in safe hands.
