The WPL 2024 is nearing its business end now and in the 18th match of this second edition, Gujarat Giants Women will take on UP Warriorz Women at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table and only have a slim mathematical chance to qualify.

However, they have played some good cricket in the last couple of games and looked all set to win against MI before Harmanpreet Kaur spoiled their party. However, the big question ahead of the game is that will they make any changes to their playing XI? Let's try to analyze it.

The duo of Beth Mooney has shown good form in the last couple of games while her opening partner Laura Wolvaardt also scored 76 against RCB. Both are set to open again but the problem has been the batting form of Litchfield and Ashleigh Gardner.

The Aussie duo need to score runs if GG want to end on a high and one positive that emerged from their last game was Hemalatha's batting. She smashed 74 and Bharati Fulmali too, who made her debut played a handy cameo.

Sneh Rana though was very poor in the last game and gave away 48 in her four overs and can be replaced by Mannat Kashyap. Also, to boost their bowling attack, Lea Tahuhu can also be brought into the XI in place of Litchfield but it would be a very bold call.

So, most probably, there would be only one change in the form of Mannat Kashyap coming in for Sneh Rana. It is however, important. that GG fire in unison, if they want to hunt down Alyssa Healy and company.
