The Cricket fraternity will witness the greatest rivalry of Cricket as Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team is all set to clash with Pakistan in an exhilarating clash at the ICC Men's World Cup 2024 in New York on Sunday.

The teams will face each other in a nail-biting match at the newly constructed New York's Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

Ahead of the much-anticipated match, the 'god of cricket', master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, wished team India good luck and even expressed his optimism for a strong show from both sides but saved his best wishes for the 'Men in Blue'.

The legendary cricketer was also seen on the streets of New York ahead of the clash, fans lined up on the streets to see a glance of the little master. He also recalled his cricketing days and matches that India and Pakistan have played against each other in the World Cups.

"When we talk about tomorrow's match, which is going to be a big match, India vs Pakistan. It has always been a big match. My first World Cup experience against Pakistan was way back in 1992 in Australia. And from there on, the number of World Cup matches that we've played against each other, they've all been exciting, super exciting" He said to ANI.

However, when it came to express wishes, he showed his biasness a little towards India and gave an extra edge to Indian cricket team.

India Vs Pakistan: Greatest Rivalvery

Pakistan is most dangerous when pushed to a corner, and that's why India needs to be wary of the threat posed by Babar Azam and his team. After suffering a shocking defeat to the USA, another loss could push Pakistan to the brink of elimination, especially with a match against Ireland still to come.

Conversely, India is riding high on confidence following their win against Ireland on Wednesday, bolstered by their well-gelling team combinations. This sets the stage for a high-stakes clash, where Pakistan will be fighting to stay alive in the tournament, and India will look to maintain their winning momentum.
