'Sabr Is Forgiving'- Sania Mirza's Cryptic Post After Breaking Ties With Shoaib Malik

Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza made a cryptic post amidst controversy surrounding her divorce from former Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik after the cricketer announced his third marriage to actress Sana Javed.
Mirza, who had found public support after an outpour of emotions amongst her fans based in India and Pakistan following the divorce confirmation from her family, has been making inspirational posts on her social media handles over the past few weeks.
In his latest post on Instagram, Mirza spoke of adopting the concept of "sabr", which means patience in the Urdu language, emphasising the need to maintain patience and strength through the difficult phases of one's life, currently undergoing one herself since breaking ties with Malik.

"Sabr is smiling at people despite all the hurting inside you. Sabr is when tears come rushing down your eyes and wiping it off before anyone notices it. Sabr is forgiving people that are cruel to you. Sabr is having full Imaan in Allah that everything will workout. Sabr is trusting Allah’s plan," Mirza wrote in her story post.
Malik announced his marriage to actress Sana on 20th January, 2024 and triggered a shockwave either side of the Indo-Pakistan border, confirming broken ties with Mirza after a 13-year-old marriage via Instagram pictures posted by the former Pakistan captain alongside his new wife.
The famed couple tied the knot in 2010 and have a son. Mirza and Malik's separation had been speculated since last year with multiple media and news reports of the two famous personalities breaking ties amidst no public appearance together for a long time.
