Legendary Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik has married prominent actress Sana Javed amidst his divorce rumors with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. The all-rounder surprised one-and-all by sharing pictures of his seemingly extravagant wedding on social media, just days after Mirza shared a thought-provoking quote involving marriage and divorce on her Instagram account.

Notably, neither Shoaib Malik nor Sania Mirza have officially confirmed or denied the rumors of their possible split. However, the timing of their recent actions continues to bewilder fans of the two sporting personalities.


Shoaib Malik marries Pakistan actress Sana Javed

On January 20, Shoaib Malik took to his social media account and shared a couple of pictures with his newly-wedded wife, Pakistan actress Sana Javed.

The cricketer had previously married Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza in April 2010. They even have a five-year-old son together named Izhaan Mirza Malik.

A couple of weeks prior to Malik’s unexpected announcement, Mirza shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account, one that prompted speculations of a possible split with her husband. She wrote:

“When something disturbs the peace of your heart , let it go.”

Shoaib Malik is currently slated to represent the Karachi Kings franchise in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 season. The 42-year-old was last seen in action back during the National T20 Cup 2023 for Sialkot Region.
