Ruturaj Gaikwad shared POTM award with Prithvi Shaw

The 27-year-old batter showed the true sense of sportsmanship after the game as he shared his POTM award with batter Prithvi Shaw, who slammed the second-fastest double century in Ranji Trophy history. While he was dismissed cheaply in the first innings, he made sure to contribute in the second. He scored 222 runs and slammed a double century in just 141 balls.

This award and gesture by Gaikwad were a massive boost for Shaw, who has recently shifted from Mumbai to Maharashtra.
