On Wednesday, February 12, India will lock horns against England in the 3rd ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will be a dead-rubber match as the Men in Blue have already sealed the series after winning the first-two matches. 

For the upcoming match, eyes would be on Rohit Sharma as the hitman regained his lost mojo in the 2nd ODI after he smashed a century, his first since 2023 World Cup. In thee 2nd ODI, Rohit had broken plethora of records and one of them included going past Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most runs for India as an opener in international cricket. 

Further, Rohit is also eyeing another massive Sachin Tendulkar record in the 3rd ODI. At present, Rohit is just 13 runs away from completing 11,000 ODI runs. Further, the hitman has the chance to surpass master blaster to become the second fastest Indian to 11,000. 

Rohit Eyeing To Become 2nd Fastest To 11,000 ODI Runs

Rohit has 10,987 runs in 267 matches and Sachin took 284 matches to reach 11,000 ODI runs. Virat Kohli is the fastest to 11,000 runs as he took just 230 matches and achieved the feat against Pakistan in 2019. Here is the complete list.
