India's star cricketer Rishabh Pant is known for his jolly nature both on and off the field. The southpaw has won fans' hearts with his style and enjoys massive popularity. The fans are always there to back the 27-year-old, as seen during the Manchester Test, where the internet was filled with wishes for Pant.
Meanwhile, the southpaw also looks after his fan and makes sure that he repays the love given to him on the field. In the latest events, Rishabh Pant has hogged the internet for his off-field activity as the 27-year-old helped a Karnataka girl financially to complete her higher education.
Pant Steps Up To Offer Financial Help
Notably, Jyoti Kanaboor Math of Karnataka achieved high marks in her Class 12, but struggled to afford college admission due to financial constraints, which is when Pant jumped in to help Jyoti.
Jyoti's father runs a tea stall and is unable to bear the expense of her college fees, following which they contacted the local contractor, who promised financial help. The contractor is a friend of Pant, and when the Indian cricketer got to know about the situation, he quickly transferred 40,000 and paid the fees for an entire semester.
“I completed my II PUC in Galagali and had a dream of pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course. But our financial condition at home was not good. I approached Anil Hunashikatti Anna (brother), and he reached out to his friends in Bengaluru. They brought my situation to Rishabh Pant’s attention, and he helped me," Jyoti remarked speaking to IANS.
Pant Often Looks After His Fans
Jyoti wished for Pant's success and long career as she was moved away from southpaw's gesature.
“May God bless Rishabh Pant with good health. His help means a lot to me. I hope he continues to support other students from poor backgrounds like me," she added.
It is not the first time that Rishabh has helped his fans financially as the 27-year-old offered a 90,000 thousand help to fan wanting to complete his engineering. Talking about Pant, he will recover from the injury and will take around six weeks.
