Indian batter Rinku Singh has joined the Indian squad in the USA as a reserve for the upcoming T20 World Cup, and he wasted no time in making the most of his new surroundings with his teammates Yashasvi Jaiswal and Kuldeep Yadav.

The Indian contingent for the impending T20 World Cup, comprising 15 players and four reserves, was sent to the USA in batches as many players were busy with the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While most of the core team boarded the flight in the first batch, reserves like Rinku Singh were the last ones to travel as he was an active member of the KKR squad that won the Indian franchise league last weekend.

That being said, Rinku Singh, despite notable performances in the T20 squad, failed to make it into the main team due to squad composition issues. Nevertheless, the team pushed him into reserves as a backup.

Rinku Singh was supposed to travel to the USA on May 28 to join the Indian squad, and he appeared to have landed already.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, India's potential opener for the T20 World Cup, shared a picture on his Instagram handle of himself having breakfast with Kuldeep Yadav, Rinku Singh, and fielding coach Dilip.

The trio took some time off from their rigorous training schedule to explore the local culture and unwind ahead of their league opener against Ireland on June 5.

That being said, while the day out provided a much-needed break, the focus remains firmly on the T20 World Cup. The Indian team, under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, is gearing up to face tough competition from powerful member nations.
