In the latest development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for students for the second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan. The match will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3.

Students interested in attending must wear their school uniforms and present their educational institution cards to gain entry.

"The students are required to be in their uniform and bring their educational institutions cards to enter the stadium. The decision was made to encourage students to come and witness exciting game of cricket between the two sides," PCB's statement read.

This initiative is part of the PCB's effort to encourage students to experience the excitement of Test cricket between the two sides.

Bangladesh currently leads the two-match series 1-0, having won the first Test by 10 wickets. The series is also part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.

It's important to note that the free entry policy for students does not apply to the seating in the PCB Gallery or the Platinum Box. Previously, the PCB had also allowed free entry for fans on the fourth and fifth days of the first Test match at the same venue.

Pakistan Faced Shocking Defeat Vs Bangladesh

In the first Test of the two-match series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh dominated Pakistan and secured a commanding ten-wicket victory.

Pakistan, led by Shan Masood, struggled throughout the match despite posting a solid first-innings total of 448/6. However, Bangladesh responded with an even stronger batting performance, with Mushfiqur Rahim's brilliant century giving them a crucial first-innings lead.

Bangladesh’s bowlers, particularly Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, played a pivotal role in Pakistan's downfall.

They restricted Pakistan to a low score in their second innings. Bangladesh then chased the modest target of 30 runs with ease, winning the match by ten wickets and taking a 1-0 lead in the series.
