In a significant honour, Indian Women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur featured in the 50-player list shortlisted to determine Women Big Bash League's Team of The Decade. Kaur is the only Indian to get the honour as she fits into the minimum matches played criteria.
WBBL is planning to honour 12 best players that served the franchise league in the past decade and played a key role in its success. The league authorities will determine a Team of The Decade comprising of top 12 players who raised the bar with their performance and set a new precedent.
On Thursday, November 7, WBBL released a list of 50 shortlisted players who have appeared in at least 60 WBBL matches before this season. This announcement was a part of celebrations marking the WBBL's ten-year anniversary.

According to PTI, from India, Harmanpreet Kaur has made the cut to the final shortlisted list. In 62 WBBL games, she scored 1440 runs with an average of 37.89.
