Harmanpreet Kaur Only Indian As ICC Reveals Best Team Of Women's T20 World Cup 2024

On Monday, October 21, ICC released the team of the tournament for the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 following another successful edition of the prestigious T20 event in the world.
On Sunday, October 20, New Zealand scripted history and lifted the Women's T20 World Cup title by beating South Africa in the finals. After posting 158 runs on the board, the white Ferns restricted South Africa to just 126 runs.
ICC Reveals Team Of The Tournament
Talking about the team of the tournament, Amelia Kerr and Rosemary Mair are the two players from New Zealand included in the playing XI, while Eden Carson is named as the 12th woman.
It is worth noting that Kerr finished the tournament with 15 wickets, the most by any bowler in the single edition of the women's T20 World Cup.
South Africa’s opening pair finished as the two highest run-scorers in the competition, and both Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits were selected.
Shedding light on Indian players, the Women in Blue had a poor tournament and suffered an early crash. However, Harmanpreet Kaur has been cut because of her impressive individual performance.
West Indies women too shone in the tournament as Deandra Dottin and Amy Fletcher made it to the team for their performance. Further, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Tazmin Brits, and Australia's Megan Schutt are the other key stars including in the team of the tournament.
