Mohammed Shami has been out of action since his memorable performance in the World Cup 2023. He underwent a surgery to repair his Achilles Tendon after that tournament, and since has been working hard to get back to his full fitness.

He was recently seen bowling in the nets at NCA, which are great signs for Indian cricket with big Test season coming up, and has now been spotted helping the Nepal players as well. Recently, BCCI has allowed Nepal players to train at the world-class facilities in NCA which is seen as a great gesture from the richest board in the world to promote cricket in the neighbouring country.

Nepal recently played in the T20 World Cup and though they did not win in any game, they were close to creating history against mighty Proteas.
