Sandeep Lamichhane, one of Nepal's brightest stars, if not the brightest, was convicted by a court of raping a minor last year. However, the victim made a shocking revelation lately, saying there was no rape, and she had to do it due to 'some people and organisations.'

In May, Lamichhane was declared innocent by Kathmandu District Court on this matter, and allowed him to play the T20 World Cup. And now, with things are no longer the hot topic to discuss, the victim, who raised complaint with the name Gaushala 26, opened up about the things which should not have happened in the first place.

"There was no rape, some people and organisations forced me to file the case, I didn't want to do it," Gaushala 26 said, as quoted by nepalkhabar.

Lamichhane was part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well, as Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals) roped him in ahead of the 2018 edition. He has played many franchise leagues since then, including Big Bash League (BBL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and many more.

Notably, Lamichhane, 23 now, has already made a lot of records at such a young age.
