In the latest development, India's star seamer Mohammed Shami has taken to social media platforms where he posted a video of him practising in the nets. The clip has delighted the Indian fans as the right-arm pacer looks all ready for Champions Trophy 2025.

It is worth noting that the prestigious fifty-over event will take place from February 19 to March 9. Meanwhile, Shami, who has not played a solitary match for India since the 2023 World Cup final on November 19, is likely to return to the Indian set-up soon.

Shami took to social media platforms, where he captioned the post, 'Precision, Pace, and Passion, All Set to Take on the World!'. The post has sent the internet into a frenzy as the fans feel that Shami has returned to 100% fitness.

Shami Featured In Vijay Hazare Trophy And Other Domestic Events

It is worth noting that Shami had hit the nets early in October, where the fans felt that he is all set to return for Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The right-arm seamer also featured in Ranji Trophy games, but unfortunately, he picked up a fresh injury in his knee and was ruled out of Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Shami dealt with the fresh blow and participated in Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he performed both with the bat and the ball. However, there is still a suspence around Shami as the NCA doctors are yet to give him a green-light to play international cricket.

Nonetheless, the latest post by Shami has come as a ray of hope, hinting that he has regained full fitness and will feature in Champions Trophy 2025.
