In the ongoing match between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Renegades at the Perth Stadium, Jake Fraser McGurk has scripted a new low as he returned to the pavilion for a golden duck. The DC star is having a flop show in the BBL and how risks being dropped for the upcoming matches.

Notably, Perth, batting first, put 147/8 on the board, courtesy of a three-wicket haul from Adam Zampa. It was all up to the batters to seal the win for the Renegades, but the top orders were a big letdown, particularly McGurk.

JFM's Poor Run Continues

Jake Fraser-McGurk Going Through A Slump

It is worth noting that McGurk burst to the scene after he played an impressive knock in BBL 13 that fetched him a contract with Delhi Capitals for IPL 2024. The right-hand batter shone for the Capitals and contributed at the top to make a mark.

As a result, McGurk was bought-back at the IPL 2025 mega auction for 9 crores via RTM. However, the Capitals now sweat in panic as the youngster has amassed just 67 runs in seven matches, averaging 9.57. His highest score has been just 26 and he has so far registered four single-digit scores. Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, Renegades are 110/5 and still require 37 to win off 24 balls.
