Five-time champions Mumbai Indians have submitted their final retention list for the 2026 Indian Premier League season. On Saturday, all IPL franchises revealed their respective list of retained players, and the Hardik Pandya-led outfit persisted with most of their familiar faces. 

MI were impressive in the IPL 2025, finishing as the third-best team of the competition. As they aim to fill minor gaps in their IPL 2026 squad, here's the full list of MI's retained and released players as well as the updated purse and remaining slots for the mini auction. 

Mumbai Indians retained players for IPL 2026

MI retained 20 players, including seven overseas, from their IPL 2025 squad. Apart from trading Arjun Tendulkar to LSG, the five-time champions released Reece Topley, S Raju, Bevon Jacobs, KL Shrijith, Vignesh Puthur, Karn Sharma, Lizaad Williams and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

Mumbai Indians have five slots, including one overseas, to fill in the mini auction. They have a budget of INR 2.75 Cr for the marquee event.
