Rishabh Pant unleashed two cracking centuries against England across both innings of the Headingley Test in Leeds. The blistering wicketkeeper-batter registered scores of 134 and 118 to soar to his career-best Test ranking at number seven.

After enduring a below-par IPL 2025 season for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the franchise has now shared an emotional redemption tribute for the 27-year-old on social media.

After Dismal IPL 2025, LSG Celebrates Rishabh Pant Comeback

On Thursday, June 26, i.e., a couple of days after the conclusion of India’s Headingley Test against England, the LSG franchise shared an emotional tribute post for Rishabh Pant on social media. The first half of the short 10-second video features the negative headlines Pant garnered for his flop run in IPL 2025, while the second half signifies his roaring comeback for the Indian team in England.

In the caption, the LSG franchise highlighted Rishabh Pant’s twin centuries against England and the cricketer’s newfound rise in ICC rankings for Test batters. To view LSG video on X, click here

In the recently-concluded IPL 2025 season in India, Rishabh Pant tallied just 269 runs from 13 innings at a substandard average of 24.45. Moreover, the cricketer made 118* of those runs in the final league stage match against RCB. He was also appointed as the captain of the LSG franchise prior to the launch of the season.

Despite twin centuries from Rishabh Pant, Team India lost the Headingley Test to hosts England by five wickets on a thrilling Day 5. English opener Ben Duckett hogged the limelight by winning the ‘Player of the Match’ award for aggregating 211 runs across both innings.
