'Love You More Than...': Mohammed Shami Gets Emotional And The Reason Will Melt Your Heart

Mohammed Shami recently reunited with his young daughter Aaria, fondly called Bebo by the cricketer. The two took a stroll around a shopping mall in the presence of heavy security. Through an emotional social media post, the 34-year-old described his reunion by claiming that he was meeting her after a long time.

It is worth noting that Aaria's mother Hasin Jahan and Mohammed Shami are now separated after the former had levelled allegations of domestic abuse and match-fixing against the Indian speedster. Shami, however, was cleared of any misdemeanour by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Mohammed Shami reunites with daughter

On October 1, Mohammed Shami took to his Instagram account and shared an adorable video of his reunion with daughter Aaria, fondly known to him as Bebo. In the caption, the cricketer left an emotional message, indicating his reunion with her after a long time.


Mohammed Shami is recovering from an ankle injury he sustained after the 2023 World Cup last November. The Indian speedster claimed the highest number of wickets in the tournament with 24 scalps, even though he entered the Indian playing XI around the halfway stage of the opening round.

Shami recently gave his fitness update and said he did not want to rush his recovery only to get injured again. As of now, the legendary Indian fast bowler is rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

It remains to be seen if the speedster will attain full fitness by the time Team India takes flight for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia. The first Test of the five-match series will commence at the Optus Stadium in Perth on November 22.
